Opening in June 2019
La Panacée is now part of MOCO, an innovative multi-site institution dedicated to contemporary art, also including the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Montpellier (ESBA) and l’Hôtel des collections (3 500 m2 currently being restored to open on june 2019).
Vanessa Bruno, stylist, is the president of the Board. Nicolas Bourriaud, writer, art critic, ex director of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts Paris and co-founder of Palais de Tokyo, is the director.
Within the contemporary art centre, the Café de La Panacée is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 10 am to 1 am and from 10 am to 6 pm on Sundays.
Lunchtime meals and menus : a range of 3 starters, 3 main meals and 3 desserts to choose from all made with fresh products straight from the morning’s market.
These menus are entirely prepared on the premises from fresh, seasonal and often local products, by young and talented team of cooks.
In the evening : a large selection of beers & wines to accompany the tapas menu and small side plates.
On Sundays : a convivial, homemade brunch with a buffet of hot and cold, savory and sweet dishes, pastries and drinks.
